"a jeep to far"!

The things youve got to do trying to get a jeep!
Story is,flight booked to southhampton 7.15 am.journey by car...tooddlliing along..suddenly 5 miles from airport..car broke down!:pullhair:
It took an hour for recovery to turn up...missed the flight...recovery took us to airport..got there 8.20.Booked and paid again for next flight...12.20...waited...waited..drank coffee..more coffee..toilet...toilet again! finally we were off,window seat on a propeller plane...shook like fuck taking off..bank like ive never felt..1.20 mins later...arrived in southhampton.More money to be drawn,booked taxi..waited 30 mins for taxi!:shock:
Finally taxi arrives....20 mins later,arrived.What a site to see...my lovley jeep waiting for me!...then of course...after all that........no spare jack or wheel brace in jeep! drove back on a wing and a prayer 280 miles!
Shes now parked up...and being attended to in my own loving way..modified and resprayed soon to look like a british paratrooper jeep dropped in Arnhem..
complete with ww2 shovel,nos ww2 radio and antenna,black out lights,ww2 jerry can.Hopefully i will show photos as when i bought it and what it looks like when finished!:yo:
